Aaron Young is a BAFTA nominated producer and director working in both TV and film.


On the television side, Aaron is the producer/director of 'Normandy '44: The Battle Beyond D-Day' (BBC 2014) 'The Battle for Malta' (BBC 2013), 'Great British Story: Shorts' (BBC 2012), 'Dam Busters: The Race to Smash the German Dams' (BBC 2011), 'Battle of Britain: The Real Story (BBC 2010), and producer of 'Durga - The Goddess Comes To London' (five 2006). He has also worked across a number of other singles and series, including 'Christina: A Medieval Life' (BBC 2008), 'In Search of Myths & Heroes' (BBC/PBS 2004) and 'Walking The Bible: A Journey into Three Faiths' (PBS 2005).


Between 2004 and 2010, Aaron was heavily involved with the UK Film Council's Short Film Completion Fund, the last three years running the fund as Completion Fund Executive. The scheme was supported by the National Lottery through the UK Film Council's New Cinema Fund and, during its time, achieved a consistently high level of success. Aaron maintains a strong interest in dramatic cinema and continues to develop projects, both shorts and features.


In 2011, Aaron was named as one of forty-two BAFTA 'Brits to Watch' - in an inaugural list of emerging British talent tipped for future success in the years to come.

Freya Eden-Ellis is an experienced producer and production manager having previously worked with Aaron on 'Normandy '44: The Battle Beyond D-Day' (BBC 2014)The Battle for Malta’ (BBC 2013), and BAFTA shortlisted documentaries ‘Dam Busters: The Race to Smash the German Dams’ (BBC 2011),  and ‘Battle of Britain: The Real Story’ (BBC 2010). Freya also worked on the final two years of the UKFC’s Short Film Completion Fund. Most recently, Freya produced a series of English Language revision films for BBC Bitesize.


In addition to these projects, Freya has worked on a number of other TV series and films including ‘Michael Wood’s Great British Story’ (BBC 2012), ‘Michael Wood’s Story of England’ (BBC 2010), ‘Alexander’s Greatest Battle’ (History 2009), and short films ‘Super Goths’ (2009), ‘Indigo’ (2009), and ‘Bound South’ (2009) and the feature film ‘Psychosis’ (2009).

James Holland is a best-selling writer, presenter and historian of WW2. Recently, he has presented BAFTA shortlisted BBC documentaries such as ‘Battle for Britain: The Real Story’, ‘Dam Busters: the Race to Smash the German Dams’ and ‘The Battle for Malta’. He was also a key contributor and historic consultant on History/CBC/Channel 5’s Heroes of the Skies and regularly appears on radio and panel shows. Edward Radford  is an experienced editor, camera operator and producer having worked for the last ten years on broadcast television projects in the United Kingdom, Middle East and Australia. He has filmed and edited high profile documentary films for Channel 4 and the BBC, including 'Mad Dog: Gaddafi's Secret World', ‘Ian Brady: Endgames of a Psychopath’, ‘50 Years of Bad Sex’, ‘Dispatches: Gypsy Eviction’ and ‘The Rise & Fall of Rupert Murdoch’. In 2011 he produced and edited ‘Shark Harbour’ for ABC Australia and National Geographic (becoming NGC ‘Wild’ Channel’s third highest rated film in its history).  He is a graduate of the University of Sydney. Howard Davidson is a composer of music for film, television, radio and the theatre with over 300 scores to his name. His orchestral scores have been performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra, and both the Royal Philharmonic and Philharmonia Orchestras. He regularly works on documentaries for the BBC and is also a Professor of Composition for Screen at the Royal College of Music, London. Read his RCM profile for more information.

Jon Wood is a Director of Photography whose work has ranged from feature films such as Shaun Of The Dead, comedy shows such as The Mighty Boosh to documentary series  such as Monarchy, Timewatch, The South Bank Show and  Imagine.  Jon has worked for a diverse range of clients including  the BBC, ITV , C4 , Discovery Channel, Warner Bros, Columbia Pictures and many of the major independents .
